Year 4 News
This term our topic is called Flashes and Bangs and it is based around World War II. The children have researched and presented their projects which answered the question, 'How did the War affect Britain?'
Everyone dressed up in 1940's style clothes
On Thursday 27th November 2008, 4C had a VE Day celebration, where they dressed up in clothes of the 1940's. They sampled food which they made using recipes from the ration cookbook and devised dances to show different points of the war.
It was a fantastic day and everyone enjoyed themselves.
