Welcome to Year 3

Hello! We are Year 3. Our teacher is called Mrs. Cooke and our teaching assistants are Mrs. Casswell and Mrs. Davies.

We are called the Polar Bears and our class motto is:

‘We are sensible and smart.
We are independent learners.’

This year we are looking forward to becoming mathematicians, archaeologists, scientists, historians, artists and authors during our work in Creative Curriculum. This year’s topics are: Flashes and Bangs, This Is England (our Creative Partnerships project) and Time Travel.

Here at St. John’s, we firmly believe becoming a well-rounded member of society takes more than academic ability. School sports play an important role in a child’s development; instilling confidence, teamwork and leadership skills.
